The accommodation is self contained based over three floors in a Victorian traditional slate terraced house.

Entrance is from the front of the property into the original hallway with stain glass windows and a push button brass doorbell. The entrance hallway leads to the inner hallway where there is space to hang your coats and to store your walking boots. The stairs lead up to a half landing which accommodates the shower room and separate WC.

On the first floor is the fully fitted kitchen, with a dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with a fitted double oven, ceramic hob, extractor fan and fridge/freezer. A microwave is also provided, together with a dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Everything you could possibly need has been provided, and there is ample crockery and cutlery for the amount of guests. The dining table can seat six to eight people and additional chairs are available throughout the apartment.

The large spacious lounge is also situated on the first floor. There is a beautiful original fireplace with a working gas fire. There are two comfortable sofas and an armchair. A further reclining chair is available for you to relax and read a good selection of books. There is a wide screen TV, a DVD player, video, stereo and a number of board games.

On the second floor is the family bathroom which encompasses the restored original roll top bath, a separate double power shower, toilet and sink. A heated towel rail is provided as well as ample storage space for toiletries. The Gold double bedroom and the Yellow twin bedroom are also located on the second floor.

The master bedroom with a double four poster bed is located on the third floor. The master bedroom has spectacular views across Skiddaw and Latrigg from the rear of the property and Walla Crag from the front of the property. The large galleried landing is also on this floor with a bed settee which can sleep up to two people.

All bedrooms have wardrobes, set of drawers or dressing table with storage space, a chair, bedside tables, and lamps. A hairdryer is also provided in both double bedrooms. Duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are provided for the main bedrooms, but please don’t forget a towel for your dog!
